This week: We have 2 major assignments due on Wednesday 11/25:
- Our first, second quarter book recommendation (the book does not need to be finished, but you need to be able to summarize what has happened with what you have read. Also, the book rec. can be on Tears of a Tiger, The Princess Bride, or Forged by Fire).
- Our second SignPost Journal. This will be graded as a project.
Monday:
- SRI Middle of the Year test.
- When finished with SRI you need to make sure that your book recommendation and signpost journal are ready for turn-in by Wednesday.
Tuesday: Presentation and Evaluation Day!
- SOAR: Newsela article with tracker-complete it and turn in.
- Natural Disaster Presentations: Most classes, we will present whole group. We piloted this on Friday with success-the presentations are great!
Wednesday: Banner Assembly at end of the school day
- Book Recommendations and SignPost Journals are DUE!
- SOAR: 2nd SignPost Journal is due today after our 15 minutes of reading.
- Finish Presentations
- Kahoot assessments over student presentations
- Cross Country and Football City Championship Banner Assembly at the end of the day!
